What trichoscopy reveals
Hair density per cm², hair shaft thickness, follicular unit composition, miniaturisation index, perifollicular inflammation, scalp redness, dandruff and seborrhoea, and signs of scarring or autoimmune disease.
The procedure
You sit comfortably while the trichoscope camera scans your frontal, mid-scalp, vertex and occipital zones. Live images appear on the screen and our trichologist explains each finding to you.
Why it matters
Treatment differs vastly across hair-loss types. Mesotherapy and PRP help androgenetic alopecia but are useless against scarring alopecia, which needs anti-inflammatory therapy. The trichoscopy test prevents wasted time and money on the wrong protocol.
Reports and follow-up
You receive a detailed PDF report with annotated images, diagnosis and a personalised treatment plan. Repeat scans at 3 and 6 months track measurable progress.
